💻❤️ MORE THAN JUST A COMPUTER SETUP

Behind all the screens, computers and technology is something much bigger — helping people in our community.

Through Dean’s PC Repairs Homeless Support, the goal has always been simple:

🖥️ Repair & refurbish computers

If your mobile phone suddenly starts making a loud emergency alert sound at 2:00 pm on Monday, don’t be alarmed – your phone isn’t playing up.

This is only a test of Australia’s Emergency Alert system to make sure it’s working correctly if it’s ever needed during a real emergency.

An Update from Dean’s PC Repairs & Homeless Support

To everyone who has supported my journey, I want to be open and honest with you.

Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated my time to helping people in our community by providing free computer repairs, technology support, and assistance to those doing it tough. I’ve never wanted money to be a barrier to someone getting the help they need.

Unfortunately, the financial strain of running a non-profit community service is becoming increasingly difficult. As much as I love what I do, I have reached a point where I need to seriously consider whether I can continue operating.

This isn’t a decision I take lightly. My passion has always been giving back to the community, and I truly hope I can find a way to keep Dean’s PC Repairs & Homeless Support going.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be exploring every option available before making any final decisions.

To everyone who has donated equipment, volunteered, shared my posts, or simply believed in what I do—thank you. Your support has made it possible to help so many people.

💙 Another generous donation has just arrived! 💙

A huge thank you to the kind person who donated these desktop computers and accessories. Every donation like this gives us the opportunity to help someone who may not otherwise have access to technology.

These computers will now be cleaned, tested, repaired where needed, and prepared to be gifted completely free of charge to individuals and families doing it tough.

Access to a computer can mean applying for jobs, completing school or TAFE work, attending online appointments, staying connected with loved ones, or simply having a fresh start.

This is only possible because of the incredible support from our community. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference.

If you have any unwanted computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, or other technology collecting dust, we’d love to give them a second life and put them into the hands of someone who truly needs them.

Together, we’re not just recycling technology—we’re creating opportunities, restoring hope, and making a difference, one computer at a time. ❤️💻

❤️ Serving our community, one meal at a time. 🍽️

Today was another reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can make a real difference.

It was an honour to serve hot meals to members of our community doing it tough. Alongside providing a warm meal, we also had laptops ready to donate, helping bridge the digital divide by giving people access to technology for job searching, education, staying connected with family, and creating new opportunities.

This mission means everything to me, and I couldn’t do it alone.

To my beautiful partner, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me. Your love, support, encouragement, and belief in me have made it possible for me to follow my mission in life: helping others. I will always be grateful for the sacrifices you’ve made and for standing by me every step of the way. I love you. ❤️
