Mistake #3 of 5 beginners keep making: skipping the Betaflight basics 💻

You don't need to be a tuning wizard. Just get your ports, receiver, modes and failsafe sorted and most "won't arm" problems disappear.

We made the trip up to Brisbane for AUFPV Mission Drone Nationals 2026!

As the official retail sponsor, we went all in. We loaded up the van, brought the whole crew and spent every day of the event at the track supporting the pilots and the people who made it all happen.

Watching the best pilots in the country go head to head over multiple days of racing was something else. Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat between rounds. The energy was unreal from start to finish.

Huge congrats to every pilot who raced, and a big thank you to AUFPV and all the volunteers who put it together. Events like this are what make the Aussie FPV community so special. See you at the next one!

Mistake #2 of 5 beginners keep making: props loose or on backwards 🔧

Quad flips the second you arm? Check your props before you blame the build. Match prop direction to motor spin and tighten those nuts properly.

Be honest, how many times have you put one on backwards? 👇

Want your LiPos to last longer? Don't leave them sitting fully charged.

If you're not flying for a day or two, drop them to storage voltage, around 3.8V per cell. Most decent chargers have a storage mode that does it for you.

Beginner mistake #1: skipping the sim 🎮

Crash in the sim and you hit reset. Crash in the tree and you're buying props, motors and maybe a new frame. Get your hours in at home first, then come out and send it.
