Founder series, episode 2. Tobias shares some of the problems Ezra solves for influencer and talent management agencies in beauty, fashion and lifestyle, and for self-managed creators running their own brand deals.
The core of it: a talent manager forwards a brand brief or contract straight to Ezra’s deals inbox, and the deal gets built inside the platform. Pipeline through negotiation to live, with deliverables, go-live dates, key contacts, notes and next steps, agency and talent earnings, splits and payouts all tracked against the deal. Ezra designs the pitches and media kits in the agency’s own design system, reviews contracts clause by clause in plain language, and holds every usage and exclusivity window on the roster, so nobody gets pitched into a conflict.
As Tobias puts it in the episode: nobody joined a talent agency or stated creating content to do data entry into a CRM or a spreadsheet. They joined for the talent. The managers keep the part of the job they came for, which is also what keeps good talent managers at the agency.
For self-managed creators it’s the same machinery: think of it like an AI talent assistant that prices the work from your own numbers, scopes usage and whitelisting as their own line items, and helps you negotiate like you’re represented.
Ezra runs the deal book. The negotiating, the relationships and the taste stay with the manager or self managed creator.
