WordPress 6.0 is scheduled for release at the end of May, but if you want to get your hands on the beta version before then, you can.

Beta 1 is already out, with beta 2 only a couple of days away.

There are some big changes afoot, including Gutenberg reaching a new level of maturity.

Remember when we looked at Gutenberg at the meetups a couple of years ago? Yeah, it's come a long way since then..

End of year reminder to make sure your sites are up to date and have scheduled backups running smoothly. 🙂

Bonus points if you have a security plugin like Wordfence or iThemes configured.

There's generally a spike in hack attempts over the holiday periods, especially on eCommerce sites. But staying on top of the basics will go a long way in keeping you safe.
