FAQ: Why does a finished website still need ongoing maintenance?

New Work: Port Stephens Koala Hospital 🐨

Port Stephens Koala Hospital runs a 24/7 rescue line, a working animal hospital and 230+ trained volunteers out at One Mile. Their new website went live last week, and we built it.

A build like this is never a solo effort. Raz O'Connor at Ronnoco on design, Kerrie Brooks Copywriter on the words, us on the build. Brendan was up there last week training their team on it, watching the people who will use it every day work out what it can do for them.

For an organisation like this, the site has to do real work: if someone reports an injured koala at 2 am, a supporter adopts an animal, signs up to volunteer, or donates, and the money goes to the koalas, not admin.

A build is only ever half the job. Karen Varker, Clive and the PSKH team put in a mountain of work on their end to get it over the line. Some of our proudest projects have had nothing to do with budget size.
