HDBacon Retro Gaming

HDBacon Retro Gaming Welcome to HDBacon Retro Gaming! Here there will be games from the early 90s to the early 2000s all This will be soon upgraded to a SanDisk 16GB USB stick.

HDBacon Retro Gaming was created on April 17th 2012 by Kyle Bacon. The font used for the watermark, and HDBacon Retro Gaming Logo is "Petyka - Retro Computer Short". HDBacon Retro Gaming's first video was uploaded on April 17th and went for just under 1 minute, and was a teaser trailer both uploaded in HDBacon and HDBacon Retro Gaming. Videos will be recorded off both the "XP Machine (Windows XP S

P3)" and "Main PC (windows 7)" If the XP machine is unable to record the game at a decent frame rate. The XP Machine is primarily used for games that refuse to work on Windows 7 even when patched or tweaked (Such as Omikron the Nomad Soul)

A 8GB USB Stick is used to transfer videos from the XP Machine to the Main PC for rendering on the Main PC. There is no Intro movie as of yet for HDBacon Retro Gaming but there may be one made in the future. As of 30th April 2012 Windows 98 Second Edition was installed (along with the PLUS add-on) and will be dual booted with Windows XP Service Pack 3. Shorty after writing the above information a wrong driver was installed (due to misread the model name and not listing the model of the PC yet had one close to it and even used the picture as the machine looked like) Windows 98 SE crashed so took roughly about 3 or so days to get it back up and running the only thing was it was ignoring Windows XP SP3 existed so Windows XP SP3 became the main hard drive and Windows 98 didn't exist to the PC. So a few tweaks were tried here and there but still would not work. (3/5/2012) After trying it on the one hard drive that had no bad clusters and had worked without a flaw it got formatted to start again but this time it would have both Windows 98 SE and Windows XP installed on the same hard drive. But now this hard drive now also has clusters so either the program has done this giving false errors, or the hard drives are reaching the end of their life. (?/?/2012) Ram sticks were swapped around with other ones found to make the PC have 1.5GB in total

(?/?2012) Some point of time, Windows 98 SE Plus was removed and replaced with Linux Mint 14, due to not really being useful with games not working plus having problems of not reading the full 1.5GB of ram. The XP Machine's Specs are:
