Whether it’s print, web or motion media I love it all. So what do I do and what’s with the octopus? Both these questions go hand in hand as I create print, web, motion, social and email media as well as branding, e-commerce and photography. The octopus symbolizes these eight services, not to mention I wish I had eight arms.

I was born in 1987 in the country town of Bathurst in New South Wales, Australia. Growing up and through my high school years I always had a passion for illustration and art mediums. This passion brought me to the first step in my career in 2006 when I enrolled in Certificate IV in Design at TAFE. The exploration of various forms of design created a hunger to pursue a degree in graphic design. After two years studying Bachelor of Graphic Design at the University of Canberra I wanted more. I moved to the coastal city of Newcastle where I completed another two years and graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design, majoring in Digital Design. Four years of hard work and determination placed me on the commendation list for every year of study at two different universities. Equipped with my degree and freelance experience in 2011 I started work for the creative studio Sauce Design which gave me invaluable understanding and insight into the graphic and web industry. Today I am based in the City of Melbourne working on freelance projects and gaining as much experience as I can to continue my journey in the world of design.
