You've had the same three conversations with customers this week. You explained the same thing to a supplier twice. You answered a question you've answered a hundred times, and you answered it well, because you've had the practice.

That's the podcast.

It was never about finding something new to say. It's about saying the thing you already say well, in a room where it's recorded properly, so that it stops disappearing the moment the person walks out.

Ten weeks from a first conversation to a published series. We build the format, the look, the room and the rollout. You talk.

Comment PODCAST if you've been meaning to start one for two years.

Two chairs. One table. Three hours of getting it right.

People think a good podcast starts with a microphone.

It doesn’t.

It starts with the room.

The distance between two people.
The surfaces around them.
Where the light sits.
What the room gives back when someone speaks.

Get those things right, and you stop noticing the production.

You just hear two people having a conversation.

That’s the point.

Got a room in mind? Describe it in the comments. We’ll tell you what it’ll sound like.

Here's the maths nobody does out loud.

Businesses budget by the month but buy by the shock. A number lands, it sounds like a lot, and the conversation ends before anyone divides it by thirty.

So divide it. A month of photography, film and design, made in one day and spread across thirty. Then set that daily number next to the hour you spend most nights trying to write a caption for a photo you don't even like.

The product isn't the folder. It's the Sunday nights.

Comment MONTH and we'll send you the numbers in full, with nothing left off.

Somewhere along the line, "post every day" became advice for people who run businesses. It was written for people whose business is posting.

You have a kitchen. Or a studio floor. Or a diary full of clients. Daily posting isn't discipline for you — it's a second job you never applied for.

The alternative isn't posting less and hoping. It's shooting properly once, so that everything you post for the next month already exists before the month starts.

You take the photos.
That part was never the problem.

The problem is Tuesday.

The light was perfect at eight. You got the shot. Then a delivery came in. Someone called in sick. By the time you finally sat down, it was nine at night — and that photo was one of four hundred.

You didn’t know which four hundred.

Most small businesses in Melbourne don’t have a content problem.

They have a sorting problem.
A scheduling problem.
And a nobody-is-actually-in-charge-of-this problem.

We shoot once a month.

What comes back is already selected, edited, written, and scheduled.

The photos stop living in your phone.

One second before, nothing was happening.
One second after, nothing was happening.

The whole job is knowing which second matters.

You can’t brief it.
You can’t schedule it.
You can only be there when it happens.

That’s why a photograph taken in a rush never quite feels like one taken by someone who was waiting.

Save this one if you want to remember what to look for.

How a project with us actually runs, start to finish.

We publish this because the hardest part of hiring a studio isn't the price — it's not knowing what you're walking into. How many revisions. Whether you'll see anything before the end. What happens if it isn't right.

So: six steps, each one a place you can stop. You see the work at rough stage, when changing it still costs nothing. You get one number, not a range that grows.

We're a small studio and we can't afford unhappy clients. Transparency isn't generosity here — it's self-interest, honestly.

Save this if you're comparing studios.

There's a moment after most creative projects where the client is handed a link and quietly left alone with it.

Four hundred files. No names. No idea which ones are for the website and which ones were only ever going to work on a phone. Six months later they're still using the same three, because those were the three at the top of the folder.

We think handover is part of the work, not the end of it. So you get a library that's sorted, labelled and explained, plus the plain-English version of what goes where.

You're not paying us for files. You're paying for the month after the shoot to be easier.

The first hour of a shoot is the one clients are most surprised by, because nothing happens in it.

We walk. We watch where the light lands at eleven and where it's gone by two. We notice which corner people gravitate to and which one they never use. We find the thing about the space that the owner stopped seeing years ago because they're in it every day.

Then we shoot that.

It's slower at the start and much faster afterwards, because by the time the camera is up, we already know what the photograph is about.

The most expensive way to make images is one at a time.

A shoot for the website. Later, a shoot for the menu. Later again, something for the campaign. Each one starts from scratch, each one costs a full day, and none of them quite match.

We work the other way. One planned day, shot with every surface in mind — feed, stories, site, screen, print — and cut afterwards into a library you actually own.

The brief isn't "get us some photos". It's "give us three months where nobody has to wonder what to post".

That's the difference between buying images and building an archive.
