We're excited to be partnering with the Riverina Local Land Services developing a net zero emissions strategy to guide the organisation and provide leadership to key stakeholders.

As a NSW government agency, Riverina LLS helps manage 6.7 million hectares of land with over 166,000 people. They do amazing work advising farmers and rural communities in making better land use decisions across grazing, cropping, native vegetation, natural resource and cultural heritage management, and more recently carbon and biodiversity.

Impact Sustainability and Rewild Agency will help them collect the right data to calculate their carbon emissions baseline report, with internal workshops to co-design the most effective carbon reduction strategy.

As with our other clients we can help manage the impacts of climate change whilst identifying opportunities to save money in the long-term.

Our Founder & Director Hayley Morris was recently featured in an article in The Australian about a new generation of business leaders who are not only embracing the climate shift, but also proving that “impact investing” doesn’t have to come at the expense of financial performance.

In the article, she talks about coming together with other like-minded business people who share her focus on generating returns from the low-carbon economy.

“Having terms such as impact investing is great, because it sums it up. But I think in the early stages of the formation of an area, it can also be detrimental: the fact it gets an association of being impact first and financial second,” she says.

“So it gets put into the ‘nice and do good’ bucket. But we need to get to the point of it not being a term in itself; it’s just the way we invest.
