A developer would quote three to five thousand dollars and two weeks for this.
It took Trevor two hours.

We needed an events section on the AI by Design website.
Upcoming and past events, RSVPs, and an admin area to manage it all.

He has built this kind of thing plenty of times before, so he knows what it normally takes.

This time he told our AI website builder what heneeded. One hour later, including testing, it was live.

He spent a second hour adding the extras:
– Event hosts
– Refreshments and inclusions
– An Ask AI function to help word each event
– An image generator for every new event

Then one prompt to sort the SEO. Keywords, titles, meta tags, feature image, sitemap. That's normally three to four hours per page. It took about 30 seconds.

Two hours at $330 an hour is $660, not $5,000.

The point isn't that AI is clever. It's that the cost of custom work has changed, and most business owners haven't caught up yet. That events page, membership area or custom portal you shelved because of the quote might be worth another look.

Our take on Grok Bot Galaxy Day 3: the impressive part was not the number of agents. It was the operating loop around real customer use.

The team put Thursday Arena in front of people, watched where it broke, discussed feedback, assigned a next action and kept iterating.
That is the part worth copying.
When a player could not see an ability, the team did not settle for “make the UI better.”
They described the exact behaviour, asked for it to be reproduced before code changed, and expected the result to be checked in the live product.

Day 3 also covered growth and post-sales thinking. It did not prove that the new company already had a mature commercial operation. But it did show the disciplines a business needs after launch.

Start small: choose one repeating customer moment—a lead hand-off, quote follow-up, booking reminder or post-purchase check-in.
Give AI a clear job, keep a person accountable, review the result and improve from real feedback.

The advantage is not more bots. It is a faster learning loop.

Our take on Grok Bot Galaxy Day 3: the strongest thing on display was a build-time guardrail, not an autonomous company.

The team described a concrete product issue, asked the agent to reproduce the exact behaviour before changing code, and talked about verifying the result in the live product.
That is a much stronger pattern than giving an agent a vague outcome and hoping it gets there safely.

But this is also the important boundary: Day 3 did not visibly show a complete governance system for production deployments, customer communications, sensitive data, payment authority or audit review.

Whether you use Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex or OpenClaw, the practical rule remains the same:
One job. Least access. Clear owner. Approval before money moves, customers are contacted, production changes are made or sensitive data is used.

AI can speed up the work. Governance decides whether it is safe to let the work run.
