Ever had a student call the front office just to ask a quick question while the morning rush is in full swing?
Schools are unique. Your callers aren't just customers: sometimes they're students who need a bit of direction or help.
We’ve built Yindi to recognise when a student is on the line. If a caller says "I'm in Year 9" or "I'm a student here", Yindi stops the usual parent workflows. It doesn't collect personal details and doesn't ask about absences or enrolments.
Instead, it handles them appropriately by pointing them straight to the office, their year-level coordinator, or taking a brief message for staff.
Most importantly, safety comes first. If Yindi detects a student in distress, it is configured to escalate that concern to your designated safety contact immediately.
It’s about making sure every caller is handled sensibly and with care, so your office team can focus on the people standing right in front of them.
