2026 Tomato Harvest 🍅🍅

Tomato harvest is in full swing so had to take the cutest worker in the family out and get some snaps in the romas🥫📸 (he thought he was back in Italy then cried when he saw the Meering West Road sign)

I haven’t touched my camera since harvest (back in December) so it was good to get out again. When you’re in a creative slump, the best thing you can do is stop working and do something creative just for the sake of it. It doesn’t have to be big, it can just be something like this carousel of images combined with some quirky tomato illustrations.

A simple way to explore creativity and show design skills through photography. 🤗

The brief:
- Develop a professional, friendly and approachable brand identity
- Establish a unique visual direction to position Lilaura Shorthorns as a leader in their marketing
- Use thoughtful illustration and typography to strengthen their presence across web and social media and connect with a younger audience

For every completed logo design, there are a thousand other concepts that didn’t make the cut. Sometimes this is an easy choice, other times it’s like choosing between my favourite niece or nephew (also an easy choice sometimes 🤪) 🥹

There’s lots of reasons why these didn’t make the final selection but they still deserve to see the light of day. So here are some of my favourite concepts that didn’t make the cut, Part 1 👉

PS these are concepts that didn’t make it to the refinement stage so the perfectionist in me is screaming at the attention to detail (or lack thereof)

I still have hundred of photos from throughout the year that I haven’t posted yet (plus art & design jobs). Here’s a harvest photo dump from one night in December. 🌾

I was way too far away and didn’t have my zoom lens, but I think it actually worked out better. You can really see the massive dust clouds and wide open paddocks. 🚜

Slowly getting back into the swing of things for 2026 after a very good break. The end of 2025 was busy with Christmas commissions and I think this has to be one of my favourites. A cute little Queensland home - a gift for the customer’s parents and where they raised their family.🏡☀️

I’m very late to the party on my usual Christmas/end-of-year message but honestly, 2025 has been so hectic that I’ve been absolutely relishing a proper break away from all things work (including social media) 😅

As 2025 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you who has supported me in one way or another this year. Whether you’ve commissioned an artwork, engaged my graphic design services, or simply liked, shared or commented on a post, your support truly means the world to me and does not go unnoticed ✨

This year has been the busiest I’ve ever had, both in my full-time role and with Anna Fay Creative! Even though it’s been completely hectic at times, I can confidently say it’s also been my best year yet. I’m incredibly excited to see what 2026 brings, both professionally and personally. 🙌

Even though Christmas has come and gone, I still wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year. I hope you’ve had time to enjoy being with friends and family, and to remember loved ones who can’t be with us. They’ll always have a place at the table - whether it’s through their Pav recipe, their secret gravy recipe, or buying their favourite bottle of champagne. It’s the little things that keep their presence with us 🎄✨

Thank you again for being part of my year - I can’t wait to see what 2026 holds for all of us 🎉🎉

My favourite time of year is back and I am oh so EXCITED 🎄

A small brand identity for the Culgoa Golf Club. I only had a few constraints from some passionate Culgoa locals:
1. It had to include a reference to the Tyrrell Creek
2. It must use the old Culgoa footy club colours blue and red
3. And most importantly, absolutely no maroon 🇱🇻

Given the connection to the old footy club, we went for a retro aesthetic with vintage type and cream accent colours to create something nostalgic, yet fresh. ⛳️

A sunset walk inspecting the crops that are now just about ready to harvest (these photos were taken a couple of weeks ago). This time of year seems to come around quicker and quicker?! Not long now before it’s long nights, Parmas from the pub delivered to the paddock, header rides, ice cold beers and Netflix all to myself 😈🌾

Bidgee Blooms 💐 Hay’s newest florist | Servicing the Riverina.

Next time you’re in Hay, be sure to call in and say hello to Emma. I loved working on this brand with you Em. Connecting brands to place is what I do best (I like to think so anyway 🙈) and I reckon we did a pretty good job together! Inspired by the shape of the Murrimbidgee River, Bidgee Blooms brings a fresh new look to the florist scene and establishes its position as a brand that is run by a local, for the locals. 🌻
