One of a few not for profit organisations that Moreton Bay Websites works with, we are proud to be part of and contribute back to the community. The WordPress website has a WooCommerce online shop for pickup and delivery orders with payments handled by Stripe. The product catalogue synchronises to their Facebook Shop to capture social media customers.

Friday Fact - a mostly (entirely) useless fact on a Friday that will not help you in any way:
Vegemite was called Parwill in the 1920s and 1930s
Vegemite first appeared in 1923, introducted by Fred Walker, but failed to sell well. With competition from Marmite, the black sticky paste was renamed to Parwill in 1928. The advertising slogan used to expand its market share was "Marmite but Parwill". The campaign was not successful, however, it took 10 years before the Vegemite name returned in 1935. More successful was leveraging Fred Walker's partnership in the Kraft Walker Cheese Co. Vegemite was given away for free with a purchase of Kraft Walker cheese, by a redemption of a coupon. Sales increased, further helped in 1939 when Vegemite was officially endorsed by the British Medical Association as a rich source of B vitamins. By the late 1940s, 90% of Australian homes used Vegemite.
