The printer does the building. The thinking happened first.

Technology is the tool. Thinking is the skill.

These robots didn't exist ten weeks ago.

Our students designed them on screen, then brought them to life on a 3D printer. It took planning, testing and a few redesigns to get there.

That's Digital Technologies: children creating technology, not just using it.

One of our Goulburn West students loved 3D printing so much, they went home and designed their own ScopeIT keyrings. Nobody asked for this. They just wanted to keep building.

Technology is the tool. Thinking is the skill.

There is a moment in every coding class when a student realises their plan doesn't work. What they do next is the most important thing we teach.
If your students haven't experienced structured Digital Technologies delivery, we'd love to show you what's possible.

That gap doesn't happen because regional children are less capable. It happens because the structured, sequential Digital Technologies programs that metro schools run every term, from Kindergarten through Year 6, haven't been available across the regions. So we brought it here. Why should a child miss out on that because of where they live?
Follow us to see how this is changing for schools across the Southern Tablelands, Southern Highlands and Capital Country.

Here's exactly what a ScopeIT program looks like in your school. We bring everything, the specialist instructor, the laptops, the internet, the curriculum-aligned lesson plans. Your school provides desks and access to power. That's it. Term 4 is available now. If your school hasn't run a program with us yet, send us a message.

These are the 6 digital skills every Year 6 needs before Year 7 starts.

Having a teacher with IT expertise is genuinely valuable, and it's not a reason to skip a structured program. Building and delivering a sequential Digital Technologies curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 6 is a specialist job on its own, on top of everything else a classroom teacher already carries. We work alongside your IT teacher, freeing them up to focus on the things only they can do.

We asked a principal what she looks for when choosing a digital education program for her school. If your school is weighing up the same decision, we'd love to talk.

Half of Australia's Year 6 students are not meeting the digital literacy standard. Access to a device is not the same as understanding technology.

That gap is what a structured Digital Technologies program exists to close.
