Time to explore more of Australia... after the 2020 lock down and no O/S travel for many including me it was time to make a plan for 2021. I've been fortunate to see and explore many parts of Australia from my ARB 4WD shop in Albury and exploring most of Victoria and NSW with my Albury 4WD Club to participate in the Wynne's Safari in 1977 and seeing most of the heartland of the outback even if it was pretty fast!
A photo of my Kimberly Kamper is a 2010 Platinum with my Toyota Sahara on my maiden road trip recently.
Kimberly is one of the best trailers available on the camper trailer market today in fact to its advantage it is well over engineered and to be honest that's what you want in the remote outback areas of Australia. My KK has a 3.5 SeaJay Nomad Alloy boat powered by a 15 HP 4Stroke Yamaha which mounts on the KK boat and motor rack safe and secure.
My KK is undergoing upgrades to bring it into 2021 mod cons. We are setting the integrated air bag suspension and onboard air compressor, new trailing arms to match the same rims on my 200 series, new wheel bearings and seals, a new MC Hitch tow hitch, in-tent heater and a new 60 litre Trail Blazer Fridge Freezer and over haul the braking system to make sure we are sweet before the big journey gets underway after the wet season runs its course.
My 2019 Toyota Sahara V8 Twin Turbo has all the fruit as they now say Lol - to me its all the gear! There is only one choice for me and that's ARB. Deluxe bar and 10,000lb Warn Kaymar Rear Twin Wheel Bar, ARB BP 51 suspension ARB 245 litre Long Range Tank, ARB Dual Compressor, ARB Draw System, ARB Elements Fridge/Freezer, ARB Dual Battery System, Redarc Brake Controller, ARB LED Light Bar and D/L, Pre Fuel Filtration, GME UHF, Roof Rack, ARB Recovery Gear and many other goodies.
Together this will make a great reliable set up to explore, hunt and work from. A Telstra booster for my incarceration cell ph is the next upgrade.
