Excited to be a finalist in The Doyles Art Awards. Opens this Friday at Firth Park, Mudgeeraba. Looking forward to seeing a stunning collection of landscapes, still life and figurative artworks.

3 hour life drawing charcoal portrait.

End of day 2. Excellent workshop with Megan Roodenrys and Artable Studio. Not 100% finished but it is very close and I am very happy with my first oil portrait painting. Maybe I will attempt a self portrait next 🙃

Awesome day … just finished day 1 of a weekend portrait oil painting workshop with Megan Roodenrys and Artable Studio. Stage one charcoal drawing and stage two transparent oil overlay. Looking forward to finishing it off tomorrow.
