From Rockhampton to Brisbane, and from aquaculture to telecommunications, Andrew Horton has seen it all.
Twenty-two years ago, Andrew joined the business as a young PABX technician back in the TTGroup days. As the industry evolved from traditional Ericsson systems to Mitel VOIP, his career evolved right along with it. Andrew moved from hands-on technical work into solutions architecture, bridging pre-sales design and project management, before stepping into his current role as Project Team Manager as Hexicor expanded further into the ICT market.
What keeps someone dedicated to a company through more than two decades and multiple evolutions from TTGroup to Azentro, and now Hexicor. For Andrew, the answer is simple: the people. While faces have changed over twenty-two years, that core family feel has remained constant.
Outside of the office, you might be surprised to learn that Andrew's career could have gone in a completely different direction. Before making a total u-turn into telecommunications, he actually studied biology at university and pursued a career in aquaculture.
Today, Andrew channels that focus and expertise into leading his team. He is incredibly proud of how the project team has continuously refined outcomes, delivering a professional, polished, and top-tier experience for our customers.
