🎯 Project Spotlight: WiFi Upgrade at Cooranbong Community Services Centre 🎯

We're thrilled to share our recent work with Cooranbong Community Services Centre, a local charity doing amazing work in the South Lakes District of Lake Macquarie, NSW!

Over 3+ years of partnership, we've helped them through major IT upgrades. Most recently? A complete WiFi infrastructure overhaul using Fortinet FortiAP access points and FortiSwitches! 📡

Big thanks to Strong Solutions for their expert help with the solution design.

The result: Reliable, secure wireless coverage across their entire large premises - no more dead zones!

The internet is a gift, but there are some strings attached 🎁 It’s important to secure your router and Wi-Fi so that nobody else can access your network these holidays.

A router is that nifty box in your home that connects you to the Internet. You may know it as a modem or the Wi-Fi. Secure your router to prevent someone accessing your network with these tips:

✓ Change the default username and password for your router and Wi-Fi.
✓ Keep your router up to date.
✓ Create a Guest Wi-Fi network.
✓ Turn off your router when you’re on holiday.

Ever wondered how secure your passwords really are? Take a look at this chart! It estimates the time it would take for a hacker to 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 passwords of varying complexities. Let's break it down:

- 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: The more characters, the better. Longer passwords are harder to crack.
- 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Mixing uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols significantly increases security.
