You have your business plan done, you have set your goals for the year, now who do you need to get in front of to achieve these?
You want to define your ideal target markets and create your Client Avatar (Ideal Client Profile, or a Buyer Persona).
As the saying goes…? If you try to speak to everyone, you end up speaking to no-one”.
It's important that you clearly define your core target markets so that you understand their painpoints, issues and concerns. Then you can clearly show in your marketing, on your socials and website content all the ways that you can help solve these problems.
It's important to:
🎯Know who your ideal customer is
🎯Know where they are hanging out
🎯Know what their biggest challenges are
If you have more than one target customer, profile them all separately because the way you speak to each demographic will be a little different.
💡Once you have identified your target markets and their pain points, then the rest of your marketing and content creation comes from this. You want to let people know:
❓What services/products you offer to help solve their main problems/pain points?
❓What benefits your services/products provide to your clients? Not so much about the features but what will make their life better/easier and how will they feel after using your services/products.
❓Why working with you or buying your products is the right decision for your target markets, what makes you different to your competitors?
❓The answers to all of the FAQ's you know clients ask you regularly.
Do you have your target markets clearly identified?
Does your website copy and social media posts tell your ideal clients how you can help them?
