Introducing my latest project – a website redesign for CBI Blinds & Awnings Carpet One & CBI Blinds Canberra 💻💫

I previously worked with the team at CBI Blinds & Awnings Canberra on the build of their first website back in 2019. Fast forward almost seven years, and their website was in desperate need of a complete overhaul to better position them in the current market and reflect the (many) changes to their product range.

My vision for the project was to elevate the site’s branding and overall visual design, whilst introducing a completely new way for customers to explore their product range. I wanted the site to look and function like an e-commerce website – their customers would just be adding their favourite products to a Wishlist instead of a shopping cart.
�Additional custom functionality was installed to further assist with product exploration – including tooltip maps that link directly to products displayed in images, detailed product filtering and variations, and educational journeys that help customers decide what products best suit their needs.

The result is a comprehensive e-commerce website built to encourage inspiration and exploration through detailed product journeys and premium interactive elements, with enhanced branding, typography, and functionality that transforms the site into a digital experience far surpassing any of their competitors.

This project was my biggest website project delivered to date, and I couldn’t be more proud of how it has turned out – they’re already getting amazing feedback from customers on the browsing experience.
