Excited to share one of our latest projects a dedicated wedding photography page built for Brisbane studio, Square Lens Media.

While designing it, one question kept coming back to me: how do I help a couple picture themselves in these photos? 💭

We chose soft, earthy tones and a grounded, uncluttered layout so the photography could do the talking 📸 The images are given room to breathe, because that's what couples connect with most.

A wedding photography page should be more than a portfolio. It should create a feeling ✨ It should help someone picture their own day, their own moments, their own photos, long before they've sent an enquiry.

That was the intention behind this one, and I'm really happy with how it turned out 🙌

When we kicked off The Weekend Society Sandgate's redesign, this was the very first thing we presented to the client.

A mood board gives everyone something real to look at and react to; colours, textures, imagery. It takes the vision out of our heads and puts it on the table. It's how we make sure we're all pointing in the same direction before the real work begins.

For The Weekend Society, a Sandgate hair salon built around the idea that great hair is everyday self-care. We landed on something earthy and warm. Sage green, soft cream, golden ochre, and a hint of gold. A palette that feels as unhurried and considered as a Saturday morning appointment.

The redesign is underway. We'll be sharing more as it comes together — follow along if you want to see how it all unfolds. ✨
