Business name renewal - not quite a scam but I feel it's a bit shonky! I received these official looking bills in the mailbox recently - my business name expires in 2 months. They all carefully say that they are not from ASIC but someone in a hurry could be excused for just paying the bill and moving on. Note the amounts, you can renew your business name very easily on ASIC's website for $88 for 3 years - less than these guys are charging for 1 year.
