Conscious customer experience is a concept that has been gaining traction in recent years. It is the idea that the customer’s needs are at the forefront of every business decision, and that everything done by a company should be focused on making their customers feel great about their experience with them.

The term “conscious” refers to the mindset of the company when designing these experiences: the company is aware of its own biases and truly open to feedback from customers.

Surprisingly (or maybe unsurprisingly?!) it is still commonplace for many businesses NOT to put their customers first and instead operate in a company-centric model where customers needs come way below the companies needs and wants.

When we are talking conscious customer experience online this requires an alignment of business strategy + technology + creative so as to provide the best possible experience for the customer on all the digital channels. This means creating a customer journey that is tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences. A conscious customer experience starts with an understanding of the customer’s needs and then aims to meet them in a way that is personalised, relevant and tailored. The customer should be able to use and navigate a website, for example, without any confusion – which sounds super simple but is a concept that evades many!

A business that intentionally takes into account the needs of their customers will build trust, meaning an increase in their lifetime value to the business. And absolutely ensure the business is able to retain customers for a longer period of time!

Website design frameworks are not all made equal. Most require fundamental knowledge in code to be worth anything. Others are so generic and template-based, businesses risk being lost in the crowd.

We’ve developed a framework built for designers (and businesses) who want to make their clients websites or their own websites look unique but without the need to engage a dedicated website developer.

Based on the ubiquitous WordPress platform, our tool is all about designing for the end customer and making a site look, feel and function as expected across all devices.

This is the logo we’ve launched today.

It’s called GreyboxPro simply because it comes with all of the bits and pieces you need, almost like a wireframe (on steroids), but in a grey box style so you can add the brand look, feel and identity to make it uniquely yours.
