What makes you go?
What makes you feel grounded?

Often times it may feel impossible, hard or too much to pursue those things. It can be so difficult, especially in the throes of early motherhood, starting your business or even a tough season you may be in - I hear you. I see you.

But I promise you, when you get out there, you’ll remember your why.

For me, it’s nature. I’m fascinated that entire days and seasons fly by around me without any help from me. It reminds me how small I am and how big this world is - how big God must be to hold me in his hand.

If I can encourage you today:

Find more of it.
Do more of it.
See more of it.

My daughter is the best artist I know.. and she’s not even 3.

Do you know why?

She just creates.

She doesn’t sit there worrying about if these colours go together, or if anyone else will like it.

She just makes and enjoys the process.

I think as designers, we are so used to expecting feedback that we end up creating to please.

Creating to please isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it just isn’t YOU.

What makes your art incredible isn’t if someone else likes it - it’s actually that part of YOU went into making it.

You make exactly what you need to make when you’re you, doing what you do best.

Just, create 💛

I'm stepping into my, prioritising-family, mental-health, realising-capacity era baby! 2023 was such a wild ride, so I'll be changing things up this year.

One of my favourite things about being a brand designer is seeing your businesses brand flourish in all the different modes you take your business! ✨

is not only one of my favourite people, but one of my most favourite brands I've designed to date! She has taken the brand we made together and SMASHED it out of the park! Not only is she an incredible Product Photographer, she is also an incredible web designer - have a look at what she made!

Once I've handed over your files and brand kits, it's honestly a bit sad. I get so invested in your business as I design for you, and if we've done a good job, I won't need to touch your branding for quite some time!

I'm over here like your silent cheerleader in the background, cheering you on. And for Mariah, I'm cheeeeeeeeerring!
