Some evenings become more than a dinner, they become a celebration of creativity, friendship, and meaningful moments.

For Preston Bailey’s farewell gala dinner in Sydney, we created Emerald Zen, a design inspired by the harmony between Japanese minimalism and refined luxury. Delicate Japanese florals, sculptural textures, rich emerald tones, and thoughtful details were layered throughout the design to create a sense of elegance, balance, and serenity.

Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the beauty found in restoration and imperfection, our charger plates served as a subtle reminder that life’s most beautiful stories are often shaped by the journeys that transform us.

Hosted at the iconic Nobu Sydney within Crown Sydney, the evening was made even more special as we also celebrated the birthday of Preston’s husband, Theo, making it a double celebration filled with gratitude, connection, and joy.

A truly memorable evening honouring one of the world’s most influential event designers and the people he loves most featuring our custom design menus.
