3D Sculpt of Atet, Pt.3

Continuing on from the previous post, some more WIP images of my project.

That's about it! I do have renderings of the 3d model with landing gear and variable wing geometry & pencil sketches evergreen before that, but I'd have to go looking for them!

Continuing on from the previous post, some more WIP images of my project.

There was A LOT of masking....

Several layers and tones of gold that the photos don't do justice. Red lacquer over transparent parts to give the light piping that extra awesome!

"Godlings and the Gates of Chaos"
3D Sculpt of Atet, Pt.1

So what seems a lifetime ago, I sent away another one of my designs off interstate & overseas to their new homes.

I was given full creative control and design over an Egyptian Demigod's mode of transportation, a sentient craft named Atet.

Although this project was announced August 2022, I posted these 2 models off in June 2021 - and worked on it even longer before that!

It was a semi-cursed project on my end (my dog chewed both models at one point...), but got I there in the end.

I am beyond excited to hear about Hyperlight Breaker & be able to dive into the Hyperlight world again soon - so much so that I dusted off my wacom and just painted something!

I used the app to produce a starting-off point (last image) and then just painted a character in the vein of the Drifter.

PS. My son and I are hyped to team up and explore the Hyperlight world once more, this time in 3D!

Using as many keywords as you like, it utilises to generate unique art.

Here's a sample of the ones I played with today. I highly recommend this app.

Testing out Affinity Photo as a replacement for Photoshop - some things are needlessly fiddly or just straight up stupid, but it is workable and i'm getting the hang of it after a few days.

Thought I'd try the new workflow/brushes/keyboard shortcuts on a new painting - with a screenshot from my new obsession: Dune Pt.1. Enjoy!

PS. Had to add a bit of my own touch, can't help it!!

A little while ago, my dear cousin called to say she was taking the plunge and opening up her own flower shop. She asked me to design her a logo, so after some back and forth on ideas, this is the result.

There are some hidden meanings behind the logo, so let me explain!

The bird itself loosely ties with the Vera coat of arms, a crow. The bird itself is in the shape of a Q, for Quiñones, the other family name we share. I'm a Vera-Quiñones and she's a Quiñones-Vera.

Lastly the Q-bird is holding a copihue, the national flower of Chile, of which our family is from.

This week sees the doors open to her own business, and I wish her all the best - ahora y para siempre!
