Company background
The company product is a world-leading software platform currently being used by one of the largest fund managers in the UK. While it is a software product, as the Product Manager, you will need to view it from the platform users’ perspectives. The users are not IT professionals, they are business users.
Responsibilities
Gathering and documenting new user requirements of the platform, including enhancing the requirement gathering framework
Liaising with the client about defects, enhancements, and new features on the platform
Liaising with the development team about the accurate implementation of bug fixes, enhancements, and new feature development
Leading the team responsible for testing bug fixes and new developments on the platform.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher
A minimum of three years of work experience in product management or a similar field
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are essential
Ability to liaise with clients and manage client relationships
Skills to analyse client requirements and suggest improvements to gathered requirements
A background in the software industry will be a plus
