Tenses in English with examples:

1. Present Simple Tense: Used to describe habitual actions, general truths, or routines.
Example: She reads books every night.

2. Present Continuous Tense: Used to describe actions happening now or around the present moment.
Example: They are playing football in the park.

3. Present Perfect Tense: Used to describe actions that started in the past and have relevance to the present.
Example: I have finished my homework.

4. Past Simple Tense: Used to describe actions completed in the past.
Example: He went to the store yesterday.

5. Past Continuous Tense: Used to describe actions that were ongoing in the past.
Example: She was studying when the phone rang.

6. Past Perfect Tense: Used to describe an action completed before another action in the past.
Example: He had already left when I arrived.

7. Future Simple Tense: Used to describe actions that will happen in the future.
