AUAWI Project Management Services Co. Limited extends its heartfelt congratulations on the successful completion of the Feedback Workshop on the Local Preparedness Plan (LPP), held on 18 June 2026 at MOMO INN, Bogura under the Local Government COVID-19 Response and Recovery Project (LGCRRP).
Implemented by the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) under the Local Government Division (LGD) with support from the World Bank, the workshop brought together government officials, Urban Local Government Institutions, technical experts, civil society representatives, and other key stakeholders to review and provide valuable feedback on the Local Preparedness Plan.
The event was graced by Honorable State Minister Mr. Mir Shahe Alam, MP, as the Chief Guest, alongside distinguished guests from LGED, City Corporations, and local government institutions. Under the leadership of Mr. N S M Zillur Rahman, Project Director, LGCRRP, the workshop highlighted the importance of strengthening local preparedness, enhancing urban resilience, and developing coordinated response mechanisms for climate-induced disasters, public health emergencies, and other urban challenges.
The constructive discussions and recommendations provided by participants will play a vital role in refining the Local Preparedness Plan, ensuring it remains practical, inclusive, locally relevant, and implementation-oriented.
