Attention UAE Business Owners! 🚨 The UAE E-Invoicing mandate is approaching—is your financial system ready to handle the new rules?

Swipe through our comprehensive guide to understand exactly what transaction categories the new system covers.

1- Domestic Transactions: Currently, Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) transactions within the UAE are covered under the mandate. B2C (Business to Consumer) sales are not included yet, but will be added in future phases.

2- Business Identification: You must identify businesses using their Tax Identification Number (TIN), which makes up the first 10 digits of their TRN. E-invoicing applies to any B2B transaction as long as the buyer has a valid TIN, even if they aren't officially registered for VAT or Corporate Tax.

3- Export Transactions: Invoices sent to international customers are included in the new system. If your overseas clients use the PEPPOL network, you can send the invoice directly to their PEPPOL address. If they do not use PEPPOL, you can keep doing what you do now and email them a standard PDF invoice.
