Ramadan Mubarak 🌙✨

This was my first time exploring Arabic calligraphy, and honestly I had so much fun creating this. I know I’m a little late in welcoming Ramadan, but I still really wanted to make something special for it.

The word “Ahlan” (أهلاً) means welcome in Arabic — so this piece simply says Welcome Ramadan.

Trying something new always feels a little scary, but I’m so happy with the way it turned out 🤍

I almost quit this series because it wasn’t “performing”…
but today I remembered the real point.

I paused my 10 ways to Draw series because the growth was slow.
No viral reach. No algorithm love. Just quiet posts.

Then I spoke to and it hit me —
I’m not doing this for the algorithm.
I’m doing it because I genuinely enjoy it.
Because every time I redraw a letter, I learn something new about letterforms.

Here’s my 2025, wrapped 🫶✨

2025 taught me a lot about art, but honestly, it taught me more about myself.

✨I learned that I don’t have to feel inspired every day to create
✨that bad drawings are part of good ones
✨That my style didn’t magically appear — it slowly showed up every time I kept going
✨I learned to stop rushing and actually enjoy the process.
✨To take breaks without guilt.
✨To trust myself a little more

Some days were productive, some were messy, some I didn’t create at all — and all of it still counts. Every piece here holds a memory, a lesson, or a phase I needed to go through🥰
